Arsenal took a long step in recruiting Benjamin Sesko, when Leipzig decided to go into the water to sell this Slovenian striker.

The Bild has just revealed that, instead of insisting on the price of 80-100 million euros, Leipzig is ready to negotiate a lower fee than the original request.
Specifically, Leipzig can now accept the price of nearly 70 million euros to release the contract for the Slovenian striker (effective until June 2029). Initially, they only wanted from 80 – 100 million euros, which forced Arsenal to consider other options. In the top target list for the location in addition to Sesko, The Gunners also actively contacted Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres.
It is known that, while Sesko was very open with the idea of playing in the Premier League, his representative Elvis Basanovic had a tougher stance and affirmed that he would respect all Leipzig's decisions.
