Casemiro had a return to Carrington this week when Man United's second team focused on the pre -season preparation stage. Accordingly, many NHMs were shocked with his “makeover” about his body.
Coach Ruben Amorim and his colleagues are actively working on the training ground to head towards the first friendly match against Leeds United on Saturday, July 19. Altay Bayindir, Diogo Dalot, Patrick Dorgu, Bruno Fernandes, Rasmus Hojlund, Chido Obi and Manuel Ugarte are all present at Carrington on Thursday, besides Casemiro.
The Brazilian midfielder is one of the bright spots of Man United at the end of last season. Even, although the Red Devils have the lowest ending position in the Premier League history, Casemiro still thinks that the 2024/25 season is one of his “most successful” seasons, after gaining faith from coach Ruben Amorim.
“This is one of my most important years of my career, if not the most important,” Casemiro said. “It was my great success. Everyone likes to talk about the title, victory and big matches, but when you are not playing but still change the minds of a coach – the person who comes and initially does not trust you – it is an irreversible victory.”
Casemiro added: “You have come back, and now the coach has never been praised. This is really one of my most successful years.”
As Casemiro shared, coach Amorim praised him after the Brazilian midfielder fought to regain his official position. “He has improved a lot, not only in the way of playing but also the ability to move,” Amorim said in May. “This is a lesson for all Manchester United players. Whatever the past or what happened last month, everything could change in just a moment.”
Also in May, Manchester Evening News reported that Man United was very surprised by the recent firm and neat body of Casemiro. And on Thursday, Casemiro looked like he was at the peak condition when he participated in the gym training session in Carrington with his teammates.
A fan commented when he saw the photo: “I suspect Casemiro has never been so energetic in his career. He is really serious with the next season.” The second one wrote: “Maybe this season we will see Casemiro with the spirit of 'Don't joke with me'. The way he responds to all amazing criticisms. A example of professionalism and effort. A true leader in the dressing room.”
The third commented: “Casemiro looks ready for the new season,” and the fourth person commented: “ready to make everyone look back.” The fifth joke: “I don't know what Ruben for the players to eat, Casemiro looks like a 10 -year -old younger!”.
Man United will start a series of money in the 2025/26 season with a friendly match against Leeds in Sweden on July 19. Then it was a tour in the US in the Premier League Summer Series, with rivals, West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton respectively.
