The former MU player, Axel Tuanzebe is suing the Old Trafford team for allegizing the “medical shortcoming” regarding the “medical advice” that they gave him.
Telegraph Sport revealed that the 27 -year -old, who left Man United two years before his contract expired, filed a lawsuit against the Supreme Court. Tuanzebe's lawyer declined to comment on the lawsuit by a player who had suffered a career in injury at MU before joining Ipswich Town in September 2023.
Tuanzebe helped Ipswich to promote the English Premier League last season, but left when the contract ended after the team relegated, signed a contract with Burnley last month, before the team returned to the top foggy tournament.
Tuanzebe joined Man United's Academy at the age of 8 and became the captain at all levels, but after being launched in the first team in January 2017, he only had 37 appearances for the club in six and a half years later. The player ChDC Congo, who used to play for his youth teams, was lent at Aston Villa, Napoli and Stoke during that time but the injury prevented the effort to become a regular player at his Old Trafford.
Tuanzebe's problem started when he had a hip injury while starting in the 1-1 draw of Man United with Liverpool in the Premier League in October 2019. After that, he had to take a break in the rest of the season after being injured in the victory at the British League Cup against Colchester in December of that year.
Tuanzebe also missed the first phase of the next campaign because of her leg injury and had to sit out for a long time in the early 2022/23 season and did not return to practice until January that year. Tuanzebe then joined Stoke on the form of loan and injury continued to torture him until I joined Ipswich, where he had more than 40 appearances and asserted himself as the number one right -back of the team.
In October 2024, Tuanzebe was seriously injured when cutting into his thumb while washing dishes, having surgery to save his fingers.
MU has not yet commented on Tuanzebe's lawsuit. This is also the second legal dispute they face related to this player. In November 2024, MU received a payment request from an intermediary to be licensed by the football association, claiming that they agreed to compensate the party for helping Tuanzebe to Stoke on loan.
