According to The Times, MU plans to let striker Benjamin Sesko debut in the great battle with Arsenal in the first round of the Premier League 2025/26 on August 17.
Coach Ruben Amorim has a full week to prepare for an important match with Arsenal because his goal is to play well on the opening day of the Premier League 2025/26. Andrre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee returned to practice after recovering from injury, while rookie Sesko started to get to know the new club. His first training sessions with MU are active and are integrating with his teammates.
MU intends to let Sesko debut in the match against Arsenal, but the fact that will play or on the bench depends on the training sessions. Talking about this, coach Ruben Amorim shared: “This will be a difficult week because we have arranged a full training program. We will have two drastic training sessions, then will take a break and continue to spend two days thinking about the strategy for the match.”
The Portuguese captain will have enough time to assess Sesko's ability and fitness before making a decision on the starting lineup. Two other options for the central position at MU are Zirkzee and Mason Mount. Rasmus Hojlund will be difficult to play because MU does not want him to have any trouble before leaving.
Zirkzee recovered and was ready to play, while Mount was tried in a new role with the support of two rookie Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cuha. He played very well in the MU Win Fiorentina after a penalty shootout last weekend.
According to the British press, MU is the ability to organize a friendly match for a few days to help Sesko, Onana, Zirkzee can get used to the pace of the competition and soon regain the feeling of the ball. Coach Amorim revealed that he had the idea of the starting line -up against Arsenal, but still wanted the players to show the fighting spirit on the training ground.
As The Times reported, MU considered to be closed with a local club at the Carrington Center. Naturally, the press or photo correspondent will not be able to participate in the career.
