The pursuit of MUD's Bryan Mbeumo is causing fans to stir, not only because of the high transfer fee, but also by rumors of the huge salary of this striker.
According to many sources, MBeumo will receive a salary of about £ 150,000/week if joining MU – equal to Matheus Cunha, rookie worth £ 62.5 million from Wolves.
Although this figure is still relatively high, it is much lower than the previous rumors, that MBeumo requires £ 250,000/week – which is nearly 4 times the current salary in Brentford.
Many people said that the number of 250,000 pounds was only the initial “screaming”, so that they could negotiate and close at the 150,000 pounds – still the top salary in the Premier League but not controversial.
When Meumo's actual salary was only learned at £ 150,000/week, many people switched to criticizing the media and the fans of other clubs spread the inflated figures.
A fan commented: “The press must not be happy …”. Others said: “Arsenal fans told me he was about to receive 250k!”. A fans even commented in humor: “I also heard rival fans say MBeumo demanded 600k/week, high -class apartments, Ferrari and girlfriends to join Man United!”.
Brentford is said to be a valuation of MBeumo on par with Cunha – ie about 60 to 65 million pounds. With an impressive achievement last season (20 goals and 8 assists), Mbeumo is considered to be the same importance as Cunha in Wolves.
Currently, MU is trying to finalize Mbeumo early to take him to the US tour after 1 month.
