Midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White decided to extend the contract with Nottingham, thereby ending information that he would join Tottenham during the transfer window this summer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano: “Morgan Gibbs-White signed a new contract with Nottingham until June 2028”.
Earlier, as soon as the summer market was opened in early July, Romano itself and the prestigious newspaper, The Athletic revealed – Tottenham successfully recruited Gibbs -White when accepting £ 60 million. This is the number of the British star's contract release clause.
Romano personally claimed that Gibbs-White would be present in Tottenham to check the health before launching the new club. However, everything later became complicated when Tottenham was complained by Nottingham to the Premier League organizers because of the illegal Gibbs-White approach.
Gibbs-White has now flew to Portugal to join Nottingham's training camp earlier this week. The 25 -year -old attacking midfielder did not join the other members of the team when they left the training on Monday but participated after being allowed to stay home more time because of the family privacy.
Gibbs-White played for Nottingham in the match before the season against Monaco in Chesterfield, when the English player applauded to greet fans before creating a heart-shaped manner at the time of being replaced during the break. This has sparked those rumors that will be his farewell match to switch to Tottenham. However, at this time everything has been resolved well and Gibbs-White will continue to stick with Nottingham.
