According to the Italian press, Milan accepted to pay 6 million euros to borrow MU Rasmus Hojlund in the 2025/26 season.
Currently Milan and MU are continuing to negotiate the expected purchase terms of up to 40 million euros. Regarding the salary of 4 million euros/season of Hojlund, the MU requires the Italian team to pay the whole.
In terms of viewpoint, the two clubs are very goodwill in this deal. Milan is in need of strengthening the striker position, while MU also needs to streamline the attack after recruiting Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig for £ 73.7 million (85 million euros).
The problem now only depends on the choice of Hojlund. According to SportIia, Milan has not had the nod of the Danish striker. Hojlund in recent statements still expressed his desire to stay in MU to compete in the position in the attack.
However, the presence of Sesko will be a turning point for Hojlund. Certainly the chances of the 22 -year -old striker next season will be minimized. If you want to have a regular opportunity, Hojlund can only move to another team.
Joining Milan will be a good choice for Hojlund. The Danish player will easily adapt to Serie A, where Hojlund used to have the 2022/23 season successfully in Atalanta (34 matches, 10 goals).
In Milan, new coach Massimiliano Allegri is strongly reconstructing this summer with new quality contracts including Luka Modric, Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupinan and the closest Ardon Jashari. However, Allegri is still not assured of the attack without firepower when there is a lack of 9 levels.
In a series of friendly friendship, Allegri tried to pull Rafael Leao on the highest stone and the Portuguese winger performed quite well. However, not so that Milan gave up the plan to buy more strikers.
Therefore, Hojlund will definitely be used if joining Milan. Although disgraced in MU, the Danish striker is still a quality goalscorer with experience in Serie A.
A disadvantage for Milan is that next season they will not attend the European Cup. Allegri's team only plays in Serie A and Coppa Italia. However, even if they stayed in MU, Hojlund was not allowed to attend the European Cup and still facing the risk of grinding pants on the bench.
