After winning the runner -up at Vietnam Challenge 2025, Taipei expanded was the first international tournament Pitchamon Opathniputh. With the current ranking, she was forced to compete from the preliminary round. However, that did not make it difficult for Thai girls. Here, Pitchamon defeated Indian players in turn, Isharani Baruah and Mansi Singh, to win tickets to the main round.
In the match against Baruah, Pitchamon had a bit of malfunction when he lost set 2 even though he took the lead 18-15, and had to stretch himself to save a new match-point to finish set 3 with a breathtaking score of 24-22. The shock that Pitchamon did not stop there. In the next round, 18-year-old Thai player lowered Neslihan Arin of Türkiye with a score of 2-1. She lost the first set of 19-21 but played out and upstream in the following 2 sets with a score of 21-15 and 21-9.
As a result, Pitchamon Opathniputh was now present in Taipei’s quarter -finals to expand 2025. The next challenge of this lovely girl is Riko Gunji, a Japanese 22 -year -old female tennis player who is currently ranked 36 in the world. This match will take place at 15h10 today (May 9).
After the performance at Vietnam Challenge, Pitchamon received many compliments from international experts. Not only prominent with the title of Young World Championship, she also possesses ideal bodybuilding and speedy and flexible play.
An international coach especially praised Pitchamon Opathniputh: “One of the things that makes Pitchamon different is the wrist technique. Although her wrist is small, extremely flexible and powerful, allowing to create dangerous bridges, even in left -hand hitting phases – something not every young tennis player can do.”
